What this calculator is for

The purpose of this calculator is to help determine a Pokemon's stats at any given level, allowing you to enter variables such as its Effort Values (EVs), Individual Values (IVs), and its Nature.

How to use the Flash Stat Calculator

  • First, choose what Pokemon you want to calculate stats for by typing its name in the box in the top-left corner, or by finding it in the drop down menu.
    • You can click the "Change Sort Mode" button to switch between sorting the drop down menu by National Dex # (default) or Alphabetical.
  • In the very top-left corner, to the left of the Pokemon species, you need to enter your Pokemon's level in the box there.
  • The second box area from the top allows you to enter your Pokemon's Individual Values (IVs). If you do not know these for your Pokemon and you know its EVs, you can find them out using the IV Calculator. Otherwise, you can leave these all at 31 to see the absolute highest possible for that Pokemon's species, which is a helpful option.
    • You can easily set all IVs to 31 by clicking the "Max IVs" button, or set them all to 0 by clicking the "Min IVs" button.
    • If you've entered your Pokemon's IVs, you'll be able to see what type its Hidden Power attack is, as well as its power. If you're using all max (31) or all min (0), this probably won't matter to you.
  • The box in the middle with the nifty sliders are for your Pokemon's Effort Values (EVs).
    • You can click and drag the sliding bar to the right to adjust how many EVs you want in each stat.
    • The number of EVs for the stat is shown to the right of the sliding bar.
    • There's a vertical bar on the far right side of this box that gauges how many EVs you have left (remember, you can have only 510 across all six stats!).
    • At the very bottom, there are three buttons:
      • When Snap Mode is clicked on, it toggles Snap Mode, which snaps the sliders to always be divisible by 4. This is highly recommended since 4 EVs equal 1 stat point at level 100, so anything less than 4 isn't important.
      • When Type Mode is clicked on, it toggles Type Mode, which allows you to input the precise number of EVs you want rather than using the slider. Again, this is quite helpful.
      • You can also click Clear EVs to reset the EVs for all stats to 0.
  • The bottom-left grid is for the Pokemon's Nature. The red box in the grid tells the calculator what Nature your Pokemon has. Each row determines which stat is +10%, while each column determines which stat is -10%. That means if your Nature provides +10% Attack and -10% Sp. Atk, you would click where the red Atk and the blue Sp. Atk meet up, and it would tell you the Nature is Modest.
  • You can see the Pokemon's picture and base stats in the middle on the very bottom of the calculator. Base stats are a relative indicator of a Pokemon's stats and are used in the equation process.
  • Lastly, and most importantly, you will find the Pokemon's calculated stats on the far right of the calculator. It shows the stats at the current level (the one you entered in the top-left box), and also shows you the stats at level 100.
    • These stats are calculated based on the values of everything else: this means you need to have the IVs, EVs, and Nature entered if you want to see the proper stats for the Pokemon you've selected!
    • There is also a "Display as Text" button that shows you the stats for the current level, as well as its IVs, EVs, and Nature.
