Marriland's Pokemon Diamond Adventure is the series that started it all. First posted to YouTube as an experimental alternative form of a walkthrough, it grew into a very successful series that spanned over a year and covered my whole playthrough of Pokemon Diamond.
While it was only recorded with a standard definition camera (as opposed to the HD Camcorder used to record later playthroughs), the quality was pretty good at the time. The whole series was originally done in Windows Movie Maker. It wasn't intended to be narrated, because I was very, very shy about my voice in the beginning, but that changed after I received a generally positive response and kept at it.
The videos here are the Remastered videos, which have been updated to improve video quality a little bit, to add additional narration (particularly to earlier episodes), and to completely swap out the soundtrack to some hip new Creative Commons songs! If you were a fan of the original, you'll love the Remastered edition! And don't worry, all of the greatest lines were absolutely kept in there.
This video series is also complete. I will not be recording any future videos for this, including post-game stuff. Sorry.
Pokemon Diamond 01: A New Journey!
In this episode, I begin my journey through the Sinnoh Region, get attacked by some wild Starly, and pick Chimchar as the Pokemon to help defend me from those pesky birds.

Pokemon Diamond 02: To Home and Back!
In this episode, I right the wrongs and am officially given my Chimchar after visiting Professor Rowan, as well as a nifty Pokedex. But I need to visit my mother back at home before I can continue on my quest.

Pokemon Diamond 03: Barry, Nice to Meet You!
In this episode, I fight some Trainers, arrive in Jubilife City, chase down some campaign clowns to get my Poketch, and then battle against my friend, Barry, on my way out of town.

Pokemon Diamond 05: Mine Your Own Business!
In this episode, I check out the sights to be seen in Oreburgh City, then head on into the Oreburgh Mine, where I track down the Gym Leader. I also battle against some newbie Gym Trainers when I'm done.

Pokemon Diamond Gym 1: Roark and the Coal Badge
In this episode, I take on the first Gym Leader of the game, Roark, and his selection of Rock-type Pokemon. If you started with Piplup or Turtwig, you shouldn't have any problem taking down Roark as long as you use Bubble or Vine Whip (Piplup may need some healing since Bubble is quite weak), but you should really evolve your Chimchar into a Monferno if that's what you started with. His Cranidos hits the hardest of his Pokemon, so try to make sure yours are in good shape before you knock out his comparatively weak Onix.

Pokemon Diamond 06: Fighting to Floaroma!
In this episode, I help save Professor Rowan and Dawn from some Team Galactic thugs, dress up my little Abra, and make my way north through Route 204 to reach Floaroma Town.

Pokemon Diamond 07: Sweet Honey in Great Numbers!
In this episode, I fight a Galactic goon, only to run off in search of the key to the Valley Windworks. During my search, I find two Galactic Grunts that have plans to attract Pokemon in great numbers by using some sweet Honey. They must have it!

Pokemon Diamond 08: In the Thick of the Woods!
In this episode, I head through Route 205 through the Eterna Forest, running across my first team partner, Cheryl, who I help guide through the Eterna Forest. She has a Chansey that will battle alongside you in every fight in the forest, and your HP/PP is healed after each battle, making this a great place to train!

Pokemon Diamond Gym 2: Gardenia and the Forest Badge
In this episode, I take on the second Gym Leader in the game, Gardenia, and her team of Grass-type Pokemon. If you started with Piplup or Turtwig, you may be in for some trouble, so try to catch a Flying-type Pokemon or a Ponyta on Route 207 (north of Oreburgh) to help you in your fight. Monferno should have no difficulty taking her down.

Pokemon Diamond 13 1/2: Route 206 and the Wayward Cave!
In this... uh, half-episode, I check out the underside of the Cycling Road and even a cave in the very back of it. I'm not showing the hidden part of the Wayward Cave because you need Strength before you can proceed in it. Also, this episode happened after episode 14, which is why my levels are a little higher.

Pokemon Diamond Gym 3: Maylene and the Cobble Badge
In this episode, I take on the third Gym Leader in the game, Maylene, the master of Fighting-type Pokemon. Her Pokemon have secondary types that help balance their weaknesses. The Meditite she has on her team is not weak to Psychic-type attacks, so use Flying-type attacks against it, while her Lucario is weak to Fire-, Ground-, and Fighting-type attacks.

Pokemon Diamond Gym 4: Crasher Wake and the Fen Badge
In this episode, I take on the fourth Gym of the game and square off against Crasher Wake. He uses a variety of strong Water-type Pokemon, but their levels are thankfully the same as Maylene's, so you should be have a few levels on him. If you're using a Physical-based Electric-type attacker, don't start with it, because Gyarados' Intimidate will lower its Attack right off the bat. Bear in mind that Quagsire is only weak to Grass, while Gyarados is only weak to Electric (and Rock, actually), so you'll have to mix up your type chart ideas when facing those two.

added on September 19th, 2011 | 2,133 views
Pokemon Diamond Gym 5: Fantina and the Relic Badge
In this episode, I take on the fifth Gym Leader in the game, Fantina, and her fleet of spectral spooks! Her Pokemon are all Ghost-types, meaning your Normal- and Fighting-type attacks are worthless against her, but you also may have difficulty striking her weaknesses. If you have Psychic- or Dark-type attacks, you will be at an advantage (although beware: Psychic-type Pokemon will be hit hard!), but otherwise just unleash your strongest elemental attacks, such as Fire-, Grass-, or Water-type attacks to beat her Pokemon down. Surf is effective at hitting hard if you have a capable Water-type Pokemon on your team, but watch out, since her Pokemon pack a variety of different moves to counter yours.

Pokemon Diamond 36: The Evolution Solution!

Pokemon Diamond Gym 6: Byron and the Mine Badge
In this episode, I take on the sixth Gym Leader in the game, Byron, and his team of Steel-type Pokemon. Steel-type Pokemon are difficult to take down due to their high Defense and many resistances. Fire-, Fighting-, and Ground-type attacks are your best bet against them, but you will also find that Water-type attacks are effective against most of his Pokemon.

Pokemon Diamond Gym 7: Candice and the Icicle Badge
In this episode, I take on the seventh Gym Leader in the game, Candice, the mistress of Ice-type Pokemon. Despite specializing in Ice-type Pokemon, she also has a Medicham thrown in there. The battle will start out with a never-ending hail thanks to Snover's Snow Warning, so you will receive damage each turn unless you're an Ice-type. Fire- and Fighting-type Pokemon will have a great advantage here, as Candice's Pokemon are all very weak to those types, except for that Medicham of hers.

Pokemon Diamond Gym 8: Volkner and the Beacon Badge!
In this episode, I take on the final Gym Leader in the game, Volkner, and his team of Electric-type Pokemon. Well, half of his team is Electric-type, at least; the other two you have to watch for are an Octillery that presumably counters any Ground-type Pokemon you were planning on using against him, and then a random Ambipom that may try to Baton Pass some stat bonuses to Volkner's Electric-type Pokemon. Ground-type Pokemon are still the type of choice, though, and you should take Volkner out without much difficulty if you use strong Ground-type attacks.

Pokemon Diamond 74: Pleased to Meet Uxie!
In this episode, I catch the first of the legendary trio of the lakes, Uxie. It's recommend to have lots of Dusk Balls, which have a 3.5x effectiveness in the dark cave it is in, and, of course, to save your game before fighting it!
added on September 19th, 2011 | 2,278 views
Pokemon Diamond 75: Azelf the Amazing!
In this episode, I take on the second of the legendary trio of the lakes, Azelf, who makes an awesome partner for your team if you're looking to use one. It has Nasty Plot, though, so using Uxie to counter that with Amnesia is a good call if you're trying to catch it. As with Uxie, use Dusk Balls for a 3.5x catch rate against it, since it will probably maul you in the 40 turns it would take for a Timer Ball to surpass it.

Pokemon Diamond 76: What a Mesprit!
In this episode, I chase around the third legendary Pokemon of the lakes, Mesprit. It's what's called a "roaming legendary," meaning you'll have to chase it around throughout Sinnoh. You can track it by using the Marking Map. I generally ride back and forth through Solaceon Town, but Jubilife City as shown in the video is also a good choice. Normally it is much more challenging to catch.

Pokemon Diamond Elite Four: Aaron
In this episode, I take on the first member of the Elite Four, Aaron. He uses a variety of strong Bug-type Pokemon on his team, but thankfully none of them should be overbearing. Handle them with your best Fire-, Rock-, or Flying-type attacks and you should be in the clear.
added on September 19th, 2011 | 5,379 views
Pokemon Diamond Elite Four: Bertha
In this episode, I take on the second of the Elite Four, Bertha, and her battalion of bulky Ground-type Pokemon. She starts off with a Quagsire intent on annoying you, but you can use its lack of aggression to your advantage by sending out a Flying-type Pokemon or a Pokemon with Levitate and set up against it, then sweep her entire team. Water- and Grass-type attacks are generally your best bet against her.
added on September 19th, 2011 | 3,665 views
Pokemon Diamond Elite Four: Flint
In this episode, I take on the third of the Elite Four, Flint, the master of fire. He has two burning hot Fire-types on his team, but mixes it up with a Lopunny, a Steelix, and a Drifblim just for good measure (and also because there are very few Fire-types in Sinnoh). The Infernape is his biggest threat with its monstrous Flare Blitz and Earthquake to boot. Be careful not to let him set up a Sunny Day, because that will only increase the damage his Fire-type Pokemon deal while also weakening the effectiveness of Water-type attacks. Water-, Ground-, and Rock-type attacks are generally good bets, but you'll find his resistances messing with some of those tactics, so be mindful.
added on September 19th, 2011 | 3,227 views
Pokemon Diamond Elite Four: Lucian
In this episode, I take on the final member of the Elite Four, Lucian, and his team of powerful Psychic-type Pokemon! Most of his Pokemon possess very high Sp. Atk and tend to be incredibly quick as well, so using X Sp. Defs at the start of the battle is recommended to help soften the blows. Dark- and Bug-type Pokemon (that aren't Poison-type) are your best bet, while Ghost-type Pokemon that aren't part Poison-type (like Gengar) will also give his Pokemon a run for their money.

Pokemon Diamond: The Pokemon League Champion!
In this episode, I take on the Pokemon League Champion! The Champion uses a bevy of powerful Pokemon on their team, with levels as high as 66! Their Garchomp is definitely the most formidable Pokemon on their team, so use Ice Beam or Blizzard for maximum efficiency. It's highly recommended to utilize X items to help raise your Pokemon's defenses, offenses, and speed. That extra speed can really help against their faster Pokemon like Garchomp. The rest of their Pokemon are also very strong, too, and there aren't a lot of common weaknesses, so be on guard!
