Marriland's Pokemon Platinum Adventure is the second video series I started and actually the quickest to ever be completed, finishing and uploading the entire series in about 9 days flat. It takes a lot of dedication to get over 50 GB of raw footage converted and then uploaded anywhere, but through a lot of caffeine, I managed. Not doing that again, though, because it's very stressful.
Anyway, this is, of course, my first playthrough of Pokemon Platinum. I went with a different approach on this playthrough, sticking with just two Pokemon for 3/4 the game, then adding only one more towards the end. To any naysayers who think you need to have a team full of Pokemon, pay attention to just how much higher my team's levels were and just how easily they handled everything. It's a great way to play the game, but having strong Pokemon like Torterra and Staraptor really help.
There probably won't be any new videos of this any time soon. It doesn't cover any of the mainland post-game events, such as Cresselia, Regigigas, or any of the special event stuff, although I do have some raw footage of that recorded to play around with someday in the distant future.
Pokemon Platinum 03: Roark and the Coal Badge!
In this episode, I take on the first Gym Leader of the game, Roark, who has a trio of Rock-type Pokemon. His Pokemon are pretty much the same as they were in Diamond and Pearl, though, so you should make sure you have evolved into a Monferno if you started with Chimchar, or just use your strongest elemental attacks with Piplup or Turtwig.

Pokemon Platinum 04: Fast Track to Floaroma Town!
In this episode, I take on some Galactic Grunts alongside Dawn, whose Piplup appears to have changed gender, and I also make my way northbound to Floaroma Town.

Pokemon Platinum 07: Gardenia and the Forest Badge!
In this episode, I take on the second Gym Leader in the game, Gardenia, and her pack of flowery Grass-type Pokemon. Her strategy has changed a bit since Diamond and Pearl, with her now possessing a Cherrim instead of a weak Cherubi. Try to avoid letting her Turtwig set up a Sunny Day, otherwise it could spell trouble! Fire- and Flying-type attacks are the way to go!

Pokemon Platinum 10: A Way to the Wayward Cave!
In this episode, I show you how to access the secret area of the Wayward Cave where you can catch Gible. You no longer need Strength in order to access the secret portion of the Wayward Cave.

Pokemon Platinum 11: Fantina and the Relic Badge!
In this episode, you take on the third Gym Leader in the game, Fantina, and her spectral Ghost-type Pokemon. Unlike Diamond and Pearl, you get to fight Fantina as soon as you arrive in Hearthome City. To compensate her going from the fifth Gym Leader to the third, her Pokemon have been weakened by a lot, but they're still nothing to take lightly. Her Haunter and Mismagius both hit very hard and with a variety of different attacks. They're quick, too, so be careful. Duskull is set to annoy you from the get-go, so watch out for it as well. Dark-type attacks are likely your best bet, but otherwise just throw out your strongest non-Normal- or non-Fighting-type attacks against her.

Pokemon Platinum 12: Ruins and Towers and stuff!
In this episode, I head west towards Solaceon Town, but also have to check out both the Lost Tower and the Solaceon Ruins, which is important if you want to find the HM for Defog.

Pokemon Platinum 13: Ain't Afraid of no Ghost!
In this episode, I return to the Old Chateau at night and encounter a special Electric/Ghost-type Pokemon, Rotom. Unlike Diamond and Pearl, Rotom is available as soon as you've beaten the Eterna Gym, at a point where it might actually be a worthwhile ally.

Pokemon Platinum 14: Maylene and the Cobble Badge!
In this episode, I take on the fourth Gym Leader of the game, Maylene, and her team of Fighting-type Pokemon. Her levels have improved from Diamond and Pearl, and her Pokemon's moves have shifted around a bit, but her strategy generally remains the same. Flying-type Pokemon are your best bet, since only one of her Pokemon (Machoke) is weak to Psychic. Lucario doesn't have the standard weaknesses of a Fighting-type Pokemon, so you'll have to go with Fire-, Ground-, or Fighting-type attacks of your own against it.

Pokemon Platinum 16: As a Manor of Fact!
In this episode, I take a detour onto Route 212, explore some of its marshes, and also check out a cool Pokemon Mansion.

Pokemon Platinum 17: Crasher Wake and the Fen Badge!
In this episode, I take on the fifth Gym Leader of the game, Crasher Wake. He uses the same three Water-type Pokemon he used in Diamond and Pearl, but they now have much higher levels and stronger moves, so you really have to be on your toes against him! Electric- and Grass-type attacks are the only things good against Water-type Pokemon, but Gyarados is resistant to Grass while Quagsire is resistant to Electric, so you may need to mix your strategy up a bit. If you're planning on using a Physical-based attacker against him, be sure to lead with some other Pokemon to absorb Gyarados' Intimidate.

Pokemon Platinum 19: Surf Wars!
In this episode, I'm finally able to use Surf outside of battle, so I head on west of Jubilife City onward to my next destination, Canalave City!

Pokemon Platinum 20: Byron and the Mine Badge!
In this episode, I take on the sixth Gym Leader in the game, Byron. He's gotten a lot tougher both in level and in moves, so be on guard! He leads with his new Magneton, which is incredibly weak to Ground-type attacks, but also Fire- and Fighting-type attacks as well. If you're using a Water-type for his other two Pokemon (a good tactic), you'll need to get through that Magneton and its strong attacks first. His Steelix has been upgraded with Earthquake, which will hit pretty darn hard, and his Bastiodon is as fierce as ever, although it can also reflect damage done thanks to Metal Burst. Water-type attacks work well against those two if you don't have any of the weaknesses of Steel-type Pokemon.

Pokemon Platinum 21: The Galactic Bomb!
In this episode, I travel back to Lake Valor to take on the third Galactic Commander, Saturn, after he sets off the Galactic Bomb.

Pokemon Platinum 23: Candice and the Icicle Badge!
In this episode, I take on the seventh Gym Leader in the game, Candice, and her team of Ice-type Pokemon. She's mixed her team up a bit, adding a Piloswine and a Froslass to her team, but she no longer leads with the Snover, meaning you won't be constantly pelted with Hail until the Abomasnow comes out (or Piloswine uses Hail). Beware, though, because Froslass has Blizzard, and it gains perfect accuracy in the Hail! Fire- and Steel-type attacks are your best bet against her, but Fighting- and Rock-type attacks also hit several of her Pokemon pretty hard, too.

Pokemon Platinum 27: Triple Cataclysm!
In this episode, Cyrus unleashes the fury of Dialga and Palkia, but a mysterious shadow Pokemon appears and opens up a portal to the Distortion World instead!

Pokemon Platinum 30: Origin Forme Giratina!
In this episode, I take on Giratina, the master of the Distortion World, who is taking on its Original Forme. When you catch it, it will turn back to its Altered Forme (i.e., normal form) unless it has the Griseous Orb equipped. The Griseous Orb transforms it into Origin Forme while equipped. You can get the Griseous Orb after beating the game, obtaining the National Dex, and returning to the Distortion World by entering the cave in the Sendoff Spring again.

Pokemon Platinum 31: Kershocker the Azelf!
In this episode, I catch the third main member of my team, because Azelf is a very useful Pokemon that can learn a variety of moves via TM, not to mention it has Nasty Plot right off the bat.

Pokemon Platinum 33: Volkner and the Beacon Badge!
In this episode, I take on the eighth and last Gym Leader in the game, Volkner. His team has been upgraded as well. Now his entire team is pure Electric-type, making it easy to nail his weakness: Ground-type attacks. A Ground-type Pokemon only has to fear an Ice Fang from his Luxray, so using one with Earthquake is highly recommended. His Pokemon are strong, though, so if you can't nail that weakness (the TM for Earthquake may help you out, which you can find in the Wayward Cave beneath Route 206's Cycling Road), you may be in for some trouble.

Pokemon Platinum 34: Road to Victory!
In this episode, I make my way through Victory Road, the only thing separating me from the Pokemon League and the Elite Four. Well, the only thing except for Barry, that is.

Pokemon Platinum 37: The League Champion: Cynthia!
In this episode, I take on the Pokemon League Champion, Cynthia! Though her Pokemon are at slightly lower levels than in Diamond and Pearl, their movesets are much better, making them an even rougher challenge for you. Beware!

Pokemon Platinum 39: Team Galactic's Last Stand!
In this episode, I travel all the way up to Stark Mountain and take on Team Galactic for the last time in a special fight not present in Diamond or Pearl.
