Marriland's Pokemon SoulSilver Adventure
Marriland's Pokemon SoulSilver Adventure was a series that may have had a bit of energy, but sadly it was never finished due to work and conflicts with two separate video hosts discouraging me from working on the series as a whole. Because of that, and due to the Pokemon VGC tour that ate up my time, it was halted and then ultimately discontinued. However, there is still some good footage of the game and helpful commentary to boot.
This was one of two series that I actually streamed live through Ustream while I recorded the raw footage. It was rather fun to do, but also a lot of work. I'm unsure if I'm ever going to do that again.

In this episode, I take on the first Gym Leader of the game, Falkner. He uses just two Pokemon: a Pidgey and a Pidgeotto, but unlike the pushovers they were in the original Gold and Silver, they're at a much higher level this time around and the Pidgeotto is even packing Roost to heal its HP up almost indefinitely. Catching a Mareep south on Route 32 or trading a Bellsprout for an Onix in Violet City will be helpful if you want to win.

In this episode, I take on the second Gym Leader in the game, Bugsy, and his swarm of Bug-type Pokemon! His strategy has improved since the days of the original Gold and Silver. He now leads with his Scyther and will most likely switch it out using U-Turn, hitting hard and switching in to a Metapod or Kakuna to absorb your blow. Be careful! Rock-type Pokemon are a solid choice against him to counter this strategy.

Pokemon SoulSilver 10: Whitney and the Plain Badge!
In this episode, I take on the third Gym Leader in the game, Whitney, and her team of Normal-type Pokemon. Her Clefairy shouldn't be too difficult to deal with, but it's her Miltank that may prove to be a challenge. It hits very hard with Rollout and Stomp, plus it can heal its HP with Milk Drink. Paralyzing it (twice, since it has a Lum Berry) is highly recommended to slow it down and hopefully keep it from building a Rollout chain, as Rollout does more damage for each consecutive hit.

In this episode, I take on the fourth Gym Leader in the game, Morty, and his spectral Ghost-type Pokemon. His ghosts are completely immune to Normal-, Fighting-, and even Ground-type attacks, so you have to plan your strategy carefully against him! His Gengar is the biggest threat, striking very fast and hitting just as hard with Shadow Ball. The strategy shown in this video involves using a Stantler that can be caught just to the south on Route 37, so if you're having difficulty with Morty, try that.

In this episode, I take on the sixth Gym Leader in the game, Jasmine, and her fleet of reinforced Steel-type Pokemon. Her Magnemites may cause your Pokemon some headaches, but a strong Fire-, Ground-, or Fighting-type attack will put them in their place. Jasmine's Steelix is weak to Special-based Fire- or Water-type attacks in particular, but will also be damaged by Fighting- or Ground-type attacks. Special-based Grass- or Ice-type attacks are possible as well if you're careful.
